Can characters with Plasticity use Plasticity when breaking away from Giants?
You know, this never occurred to me before, but I could see the phrase stating that the giant character ignores plasticity as only referring to when the giant is the one breaking away. Not how I would interpret it going by instinct, but I could see it being ruled that way. I guess the question is, is the giant ignoring plasticity only relevant when the giant is attempting to break away, or does it matter when the other character is trying to break away from the giant as well?
I think that plasticity actually only affects the character making the break away attempt, not the character one is trying to break away from. If that's the case, one could get the bonus to break away from a giant, because him ignoring it is irrelevant if he isn't the one being affected by it to begin with.

Giant Size
(NON-OPTIONAL) This character can’t be knocked back,
and ignores Plasticity. When this character is given an
action that includes a close combat attack, it treats other
characters up to two squares away as if they were adjacent
unless blocking terrain, elevated terrain or a wall would
otherwise block the line of fire. This character can make
close combat attacks against elevated characters, even
when this character is grounded. Characters with the
symbol do not block line of fire to or from this character.
This character and a character on elevated terrain draw
line of fire and make ranged combat attacks against each
other as if they were both elevated, but terrain effects still
apply normally. This ability can’t be countered..

Giants ignore Plasticity, true, but in the case of character with Plasticity trying to break away from a Giant, the Giant isn't doing anything; there isn't anything happening to it for it to ignore. The other character is the one using the power.
Actually, as written in the Giant Size ability, you could argue that a Giant with Plasticity (say, Stature) would ignore its own Plasticity when it tried to use it to break away. And since Giant Size is non-optional there would be no way to get around that, either. Something to ponder...

So what you're saying is that it should really say: This character can’t be knocked back, and ignores other character's Plasticity.
