I was wondering about this situation and if that new clarification on the new FAQ that movement that doesn't require teh character to move don't need to break away.
My enemy is a V Checkmate Agent standing on an item.
My figure is R Hawk (after he got activated). And they are based up.
Can I pick up the object and attack with it because I have charge (move action + attack) but since my move action doesn't need Hawk to move, I don't need a breakaway roll to pick it up?
And. If that doesn't work. Can I just attack with no item, then pick the item up after my attack as part of that movement?

You have to breakaway. If you want to charge you still need to break away. This gives you these options:
1 - Attempt to breakaway, if you fail you can't do anything. If you succeed you can either move away or pick up the object and hit them with it as part of a charge.
2 - Pick up the object. As you are not moving and not doing a charge you don't have to breakaway.
3 - Attack with no item.

Charge does not allow you to attack and then move (it's move and then attack). If you attack without the item that is his full action and he can't then move to pick up the item.
