I wonder if anyone can help me with the following question:

Can a flying character in hovering mode who is two space from a building of Elevated terrain use long range attacks on a character that is on the rooftop but a further 6 squares from the edge.

I couldn't seem to find anything in the rule book and came across the situation in a recent match with a friend. In that game because we couldn't find anything we declared that the ruling was that the attack could not be made. Was this right?

Can anyone help?

Hovering is not Elevated.

You do not have LOF.

That's what I was thinking because of the rule that states that Hovering characters are treated as Grounded. I wasn't sure if that applied to characters with Ranged capability though.

When figuring LOS, consider all flyers grounded.
