Absolutly amazing. If you are a batman fan, and even if you are not, go get this graphic novel. It is probably one of the best I have ever read. I suggest it to anyone, and everyone. I cant wait till I can get my hands on a Year Two comic.
Year two gets really good when Alan Davis takes over. Also good, but never TP'd is the Barr/Davis run in Detective Comics. Not too expensive though.
If you really ejoyed Year One that much, I suggest Frank Miller's Daredevil. Both of his runs are currently available as Visionaries Vol. 1-3 and the Born Again TP. Also both Dark Knight series if you haven't already read them. Just rereleased is his most overlooked work (and one of his best) Ronin.
Mazzuchelli (artist on Batman Year One and Daredevil: Born Again) is one of the best comics artists of the last couple decades. He's done little, but it's all good.
If given the chance, Alan Davis could fix everything that is wrong with Superman's books. Note that I say books, because there is nothing wrong with Supes himself. They could cut back to just Superman and Action Comics with Alan Davis on one and John Byrne the other, and all would be well.

I dont read any of the Supes now...I dont find them intresting. Superman is just too....how do I say it...super
In post Crisis, John Byrne had powered down Superman immensely. Later creators have pumped him back up. For good reading, I suggest the TP of "Man Of Steel". I think you'll like it.

ok... man of steel was good and all ya, but its time for Johnny Byrne to leave comics his stuff (art-wise) just doesnt work anymore. ALTHOUGH i would take him easily over the always HORRIFIC chuck austen (notice the lack of capitol letters on his name showing a lack of respect for him and his kin) who will be working on action comics next year.
Also chuck (or f*** as i like to call him) plans on re-hashing the clark-lana thing (so ive heard), wich is severely irritating. That whole thing is the biggest irritation to come out of smallville, people that arent into the books are now confused, they see lana as the greatest love of clarks where it is obviously lois. and now f*** wants to put them back together for some reason... man isnt he great (notice severe lack of enthusiasm)
I didn't find Year Two to be nearly as good as Year One, although I did like the main villain's design. Although Year Two does put to rest the whole "Why doesn't Batman just use a gun?" thing.
