If a character has willpower/Indomitable, can they use the phone booth to push off that click or do they simply take a second action token without taking pushing damage as a free action? (Example: Howard the Duck) I ask because I was reading the new rules regarding cancelling powers.

Willpower says you may ignore pushing damage, so the optionality is still there.

Also the phone booth is in the players guide as unavoidable damage.

Please quote the game effect in question. It helps avoid confusion.
In this specific case, it would also show that there is no pushing damage (the object was errata'd):
TELEPHONE BOOTH
Light: Once per turn per character, a character occupying the same square as this object can be dealt 1 unavoidable damage as a free action.

From the Player's Guide.
"This special object should read ―Once per turn per
character, a character occupying the same square as this
object can be dealt 1 unavoidable damage as a free action."
Telephone Booth was changed to be unavoidable damage a loooooooooooooong time ago, not too long after the object came out.
I had this question come up today and I was unsure how to answer, "Can a colossal figure who occupies 4 squares use this object or does it require a single based character occupying the same square?"

As long as any part of their base occupies it, a multi-base figure could use it.
