I need some clarification on energy explosion. Does it work with enhancement or perplex. I say no but some guys I played with this weekend said yes. Please help me here, as my friends and I are headed to DragonCon this weekend.

Yes Enhance, no Perplex. Also yes to SHIELD ability, just incase you wanted to know.

Perplexing damage for enhancement doesn't work since you'd have to declare the perplex first (not mid-action) and then once you declare energy explosion your damage gets set to 1 so the perplex is wasted. You can perplex up range or attack with energy explosion though.
