I tried searching to see if something was already said about it but couldn't find anything, maybe I didn't look hard enough though.

Here's an interesting question that came up yesterday at a tournament I was at. No one was playing a Green Lantern, it was just something that came up. If you've got a non flying figure that can copy team abilities, can they use GL ability and carry up to 8 people? Or do you have to be a flying figure? I would say that if you don't fly, you can still use the team ability, since it is a team ability and thus copyable. What's everyone else's take on this?

I think you can. Its a team ability that pretty much grants flight capabilities. Keep in mind though, the GL's aren't going to be so tough when the new rules hit. You move your team and then they're pretty much one big cluster waiting for a grenade from Sgt. Rock and Deathstroke.

It gives you the ability to carry 8 characters when hovering or soaring. If you dont fly you cant hover or soar.
