Phasing + free Movement TA a no-no under Indy Rules!
Since phasing is now a Power Action, you can no longer use TA that give you free movement (Brotherhood, Avengers, JLA-can't remember right now in Indy).
So now, it's either Phase and have it count against your actions, or move for free and not be able to Phase!
Bummer!

I wasn't against the new rules, but now I am. Not because of any particular rule change, but because I must now completely relearn a whole new set of game mechanics.
I've read the new rules three times, and the PAC several times. And I still keep finding posts of rules changes that I didn't pick up from my readings.
I'm now going to have to completely reconstruct my concept of every action and power by scrutinizing every word and forgetting everything I knew before. This is simply too much $@*&! work for a game I already learned once. (This is why I quit D&D and Star Wars RPGs.)
I'm ticked off that WK didn't put out a "bridge" document that simply listed the changes. Why should I have to rack my brain (and scour the boards for hours and hours) to piece together what can and can't be done when they could have simply told me?
This sorry rule blunder affects the following fig:
Martian Manhunter U
Vision U
Firestorm E
Green Lantern E
The Atom LE
Sandman V (If copying one of the free movement TA)
Who knows how many figs from Indy will be affected?
You know, at first I was upset with the Indy rules.....then as I understood them a little more, they were alright.
Now as they clarify them , they are becoming worse......
I've come to the realization that , I don't want to play a game that has changed so drastically in one year.
It's not that I am unwilling to try new things, it's just that I don not want to play a game, that IMHO was fine-minus a few things......these wholesale changes are garbage.
I won't quit, and I won't quit judging.....but it will take alot for me to play tourneys (other than Marquees).
Now, granted, this may change once I play this rules...but these are my pre-trial feelings...so we'll see..
Horrible ruling...just horrible....
