Say Batman has Outwitted Hulk's super strength and is then MC'd by the Key, does the outwit on Hulk remain in place?

Could the Key have chosen to use Batman's outwit once he was under MC? (would this cause the outwit on Hulk to be removed?)

If the Key could use BAt's outwit would he still be able to use Bats to make an attack our would using outwit be the "one free action" that he could force Bats to make?


Super Sense & Multiple Attacks
Keeping with the Key and Batman. Bats does a multiple ranged attack on the Key and Jean Grey. He hits both so the decison must be made to split up the 3 clicks damage.

Is the Super Sense roll made before the decsion to split up the damage?

The rule I have applied in my most recent game was that if several effects happen at the same time it is the player whose go it is who determines the order. In this case as I was using Bats I was happy to see the SS roll before allocating damage.

Since you use some terminology from the new rules, I'll answer these using the new rules. Let me know if that's not what you were looking for.

1a) Yes, it does.
1b) Yes, he can use Batman's Outwit. However, this does not negate any earlier Outwit.
1c) Using Batman's Outwit fulfills the one free action limit you're allowed, and so the MC would then end.

2a) I believe so, yes. Only successfully hit targets have damage allocated to them, and so damage shouldn't include a figure who makes his Super Senses roll.

Thanks, your answers are exactly what I was looking for.

The damage allocation on supersense is a tricky one, as you only roll SS if succesfully hit but the damage is allocated to each succesfully hit figure.

It will be interesting to see if this is covered any new FAQ. I could see it going either way. Until then I will play that the attacker takes advantage and sees the SS roll first.
