someone else started playing GOW after seeing his heroclix versions?
Well... I never plays GOW before, but after seeing the heroclix based on the video game, i get one (really cheap) copy of it and start playing today!. Im the only one soooo influenceable?
PS: The heroclix adaptation is really reallyyyyy accurate (bouth TAs are sooo good), and the video game is lota of fun, with some really good graphics even for a game from 2007!

Well, I haven't actually gone that far, but the HeroClix look really cool and I'm now sorry we didn't order any because I want to play them... and that is making the game look more attractive, to be sure! I'd probably pick it up if I saw it cheap enough somewhere.
Yeah, I'm easy.

I have a working Atari 2600 plugged in to this day. What did he say above? Good graphics for a game from 2007? BAH! Any game that needs better graphics than Yars' Revenge is just being sold on shallow, surface concerns. Not to mention the obsession with plot and storyline. Characterization! A game doesn't need anything but flashy lights, something moving, and a high score chart! KIDS THESE DAYS!

I remember playing Yars' Revenge in the arcade. One of the first games that talked to you.
You must be remembering something else. Yar's Revenge was Atari's best selling original title, one made solely for the Atari, not based on a free-standing arcade game.

Actually, that wiki indicates it was modified from Cinematronics "Star Castle," granted it does state the games ended up being very different from each other.
I've been playing Gears since the first game released, I freaking love it.
I could never get into Gears. I tried playing the first game back when it was still fairly new and found the gameplay not of my liking. Even with the heroclix addition I don't see myself giving the series another try.
I'll probably still pick up the figures though. Especially in a few weeks when I can get the full set for a cheap price.
Now Halo on the other hand, I can't wait to get in clix form...
