I'm pretty clear on PW, except for one thing: The power says "Give this figure a ranged combat action" - so does this mean that if a grounded fig with PW is based that he can NOT use pulse-wave since he won't be able to make a ranged combat action? If so that's a pretty severe limitation that would seem to go against the intent of the power. Complex? Maestro? Plove? Anyone have comments on this one? (sorry if you've already had to answer this one fifty times).

Having just asked the same question on Judges Forum at the WizKids site, I can tell you that Four_Winds is correct. Pulse Wave is a ranged attack so all rules for ranged attacks, except LOF issues, are the same as any other ranged attack.

If a grounded PW'er is based by a hovering fig, he can PW.
