If Batman has the grenade symbol on his base, he can. However, I think the odds of that happening are pretty low.

Sometimes what will happen is a spam-bot will tack onto an existing, older thread at random, then a moderator will come by and kill the spam post, but the thread will still indicate to have been updated, you just won't see any post because it's deleted. I don't know if that's what happened here.
