I played on a tournament on sunday and Force blast was used on my characters. They used a blue Dr. Doom, they used perplex from both Dr. Doom (3 damage) and perplexed his damage to (plus one damage) taskmaster perplex (plus one damage), and enhancement from red psylocke (plus one damage). For a total of 6 damage. They targeted one of my characters and hit. There were three other characters adjacent to the targeted character. ALL my characters took six clix of damage EACH. I thought that the first character would take the full amount of damage (6) and the adjacent characters would only take one click each. Am I wrong about this? Someone please explain to me what happened.
Well, first off Force Blast nver does damage (unless the target hits a wall), you never have to roll fo rit, and Dr. Doom doesn't have it. Now, I'm assuming you are talking about Energy Explosion, in which case, no, everyone wouldnt take 6 clix. The damage is reduced to one, the only thing that can increase it is Enhancement/Shield TA. Hope I helped ya.
Force Blast doesn't do damage. Force Blast only forces a character back the number of spaces of damage that the Force Blasting character can do. The only damage done is if the Force Blasted character hits a wall or falls off a building while being Force Blasted.
And if there is a character behind the character being Force Blasted, then the character doesn't move anywhere because the character behind him/her prevents the Force Blasted character from going anywhere. See the Rules for Knockback to clarify this.
As Rob says, the power you're talking about is Energy Explosion, and there are exactly 3 ways to increase the damage dealt over 1:
1) Enhancement
2) SHIELD
3) boxcars
It doesn't matter what his damage is perplexed to, because EE reduces it to 1. In your example, your characters should have taken 2 damage each (assuming the roll was high enough to hit all of them)
Actually though, rom what I've heard the new rules make it possible to add to EE damage with perplex. Also, now a question from me, do you have to roll for the splash damage to? I thought all you had to do was hit the initial target and everyone took damge.

The new rules don't make any changes to Energy Explosion. Various judges stated this many times last month when the new rules were announced: there have been no changes to EE in any way, and you still can't Perplex the damage up; you can only SHIELD it or Enhance it.
As for your question, you make one single roll and add that to your attack value and compare the total to everyone who's affected. If you have an attack of 9 and your opponent target has a defense of 15 with a fellow with a defense of 17 adjacent to him, then, assuming no other modifiers like terrain or ES/D, you have to roll:
8-12: Hits both your target and the fellow adjacent. (12 does 2 damage to the target, 1 to the fellow adjacent.)
6-7: Hits your target but misses the fellow adjacent.
3-5: Misses both your opponent characters.
2: Critical miss, blows up in your face.
