I know that EE and boxcars with one target will do 2 damage and 2 splash. But what if it is 2-3 bolts?
If 2 figures are adjacent and I roll double sixes with a dual EE attack do they:
A. Take 3 damage (1hit + 1splash + 1 crit)
B. Take 4 damage (1hit + 1crit=2 + 2 splash)
This came up in a tournament I was in. I said they both took 3, since I figured you just tallied up damage, then added 1 for crits. It was only after thinking about it a couple days later thatI begin to wonder about it. I won the tournament, so the results wouldn't affect anything, just curious.
Here's another question that I have been hearing about. I have been told that in the new rules (Indy I assume), if you miss a HSS attack you can't finish your movement. I haven't seen anything about this, but I don't know all the new rules.
If you target 2 adjacent targets with EE & roll a critical hit, each target will take 4 damage (1+1 for base + critical damage & 1+1 for splash from the other target).
As far as the HSS question, I don't see anything under the Indy PAC listing for HSS stating this. It says the character can continue movement after this attack, doesn't say anything about the attack being successful.
