However, I call a spade a spade, and that is not a 'laid back' or 'casual' team.
I know a spade by how it looks in according to other spades and what has been defined by as spade. But in team building it is not that clear. I also take the old Crancompany stance of thematic play doesn't always mean roll over and die play.
I'm not trying to start drama. Please keep that in mind with my questioning?
What is the support limit of casual? Ie 1 or 2 of any support power. Only 1 figure doing high damage of over 3.
Is there a volume of figures or mechanic limit?
Do I just avoid playing figures that are common in the meta?
I'm looking for parameters and maybe some guidelines for assessment.

Like I said, there is nothing inherently wrong with your team, but it's hardly a casual laid back team.
There really are no set 'parameters', and it depends on the build total IMO, to have a cap on # of supports powers. Look at the team I posted. Almost 1,000 points. 2 Perplex, 3 PC, 2 Outwit, 1 TK. Even at 300 points more than your team, I barely have more support powers and I felt kind of dirty playing that team. Here are the other 2 teams I played last night:
107 AA058 Chang Tzu
100 JL034 August General in Iron
68 AA035 Ghost Fox Killer
61 CR044 Accomplished Perfect Physician
30 SM005 Seven Deadly Brothers x10
20 JLF003 Brilliant Tactician
5 AAF002 Lunge
5 AAF002 Lunge
Those are fun thematic casual teams. I lost all 3 games last night, but the 333 point and 999 point games could have gone either way with a few dice rolls swinging my way. The 666 team got destroyed by a Kryptonian team.
I agree that theme doesn't mean you have to roll over and die. I play theme 95% (or more) of the time, and I win more than I lose even when I play against min./max. teams.
Again, it's just personal choice. But you asked, and I figured that since you asked, you 'knew' that your team was a 'problem'. Otherwise, why ask?

Really the issue came out of a running conversations out of the last few weeks between myself and 2 other players. I've gotten some jokingly snide comments on some of my teams, which I will post below. Some of the disdain comes around my use of prob. Some of it was people not being able to hit my figures.
Thing is I play toward a formation type teams. I am very much one of those guys that boosts up one figure for a strong attack and use a lot of mid level guys. I've been spending a lot of time refining my play and experiment pool at home to possibly do a Gencon run or at least have better analysis for my show. I have a good part of my formation tech down. My positioning technique needs work but I have been working on that quite a bit.
Here are my teams from the last few weeks.Oldest to newest...

I thought this was toned down. Maybe 1 prob at max. Lots of fodder for Darksied. Quasar is not the most efficient striker. Two real attackers for over 1000 pts is hella risky I thought.
I don't think any of those teams are particularly min./max. TBH. Though maybe the 2 SR Scarlet Witches is a little much. I'm surprised you beat the x8 Superman team with that last team, though Darkseid and Quasar are pretty beastly.
Here is a question though: what types of teams are you playing against for the most part? Obviously the x8 Superman team is gross, but otherwise how many players at your venue play those types of teams?
Min./max is fine in the right environment. If that's what everyone else is playing, then yeah I'd play it right back. If everyone else is playing the Runaways, Winter Guard, Exiles, Seven Soldiers, Doom Patrol, Outsiders, Metal Men etc etc then playing min./max. is a little much. Again, you don't have to play a team that is going to roll over and die, there are lots of fun theme teams that can still be competitive.
Love the Hellfire Club team BTW, though I prefer the GSX Emma Frost myself, due to the Running Shot and Enhancement.

Beat the 8 Supes with the Avenger/Metropolis team. I was shaking a bit afterward. It was intense. People mainly play what they think is competitive. Sometimes people bring an comic accurate team. Most of those are just playing those teams for fun. Best was the Hydra team with like 15 generics, Baron Struker, and Viper. I so wanted to play against that team because it is rarely seen. There is a Triumvirate at the main venue I play at. It is mainly the 3 of us that win. We all admitted that we plan to play each other. But I make my teams expecting to hit them and I know how they play to an extent. One is very melee oriented and comes with some method to deal 4+ damage. The other hits with massive range and lots of use of tk or other game effects. The second is a tad more techy and positional. So I adopted formation type play to deal with both styles. I favor a primary and secondary attacker, attacking support, and pure support. Thing is in the past when I played pure theme I've gotten rolled. One example of this, believe it or not, was
