Please lemme know who u guys think wud win? I cant really say. The Avengers are great, and have powerful pieces but the same goes to the justice league. All i know is if these two teams combined... No other team in HC cud take them down.

I think they both suck. The only thing they got going for them is the free moves. Doom and the unaffiliated would wipe them off the ####ing map.

I've played a few 1,000 point games featuring the Avengers vs. Justice League and the Avengers always win. Thor is always a monster in these games, but Marvel has generally higher attack and defense values and Probability control. It's hard for DC to get their licks in and very easy to hit them. Impervious is good but it either gets Outwitted or Probabiltiy Controlled during the fight.

Actually whats more fun than a versus thread, at least for me , is to mix jla and avengers and have them duke it out as a team. Just let me say this when Supes leads the A Team they truly are the earth's mightest heroes. If only the jla and avenger's heavy hitters didn't cost so much.

I've played lots of JLA vs Avengers teams with my friend, and I've won a very large majority of them with the JLA. Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, are too much for Thor and Iron Man, because one good hit from any of those three and Iron Man can't hit anyone. Plus there's always Batman and the Flash cleaning up the s####s. Throw in the Atom and GL and Aquaman, and I don't think the Avengers have much of a chance. (In the comics or heroclix)

I just today played a 1000 point Avengers vs JLA game (in the Avenger's Mansion).

The JLA won easily. My JLA team contained everyone except Superman (too expensive), Batman (I don't have him), and Black Canary. I think every other JLA figure was on my team.

The advantages that the Avengers had were two characters with Running Shot (Thor and Iron Man), as well as four characters with both Invulnerability and DV 17 (Thor, Iron Man, Vision, and She-Hulk). The latter was pretty hard for the JLA to deal with, since DC figures have low AVs. Furthermore, while the JLA had lots of members, most of them do only about 2 points of damage.

However, the JLA's MVP was the Flash, who could outwit one Invulnerability long enough for the rest of the JLA to gang up on that newly vulnerable character. That combined with two perplexes (Atom and Martian Manhunter) made it possible for the JLA-ers to hit the Avengers.

Final Result: Aquaman and Plastic Man (both of whom had been used just to tie up enemy figures) were KO-ed, no other JLA-er was KO-ed, and every Avenger was KO-ed.

Two weeks ago, I played a similar 1000 point X-Men vs JLA game, and despite Cyclops (3 arrows) being backed up by two Psylockes, the JLA won, losing only Aquaman and Plastic Man. The X-Men did have three figures left (Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, and Wolverine).

I just picked up Avengers/JLA #1 and it looks like issue #2 will be filled with much hurting on both sides.

Avengers Best has got to be Vet Thor, and JLA's best has got to be Supes... ur allowd to use the SOD supes... there is no one that can take him down.

Not on a proper theme team. SoD Supes was NEVER on the JLA. And yes.. he can be taken down. *shakes head* SoD Supes is scary and commands respect, but he's not the end all be all.

I am the Living Tribunel and I say that they would all die at the hands of the true Thanos! I don't wanna hear about anything else. There is no possible way for Thanos with the infinite gauntlet, cosmic cubes, and the heart of the universe to lose to any pathetic DC or avenger piece.

The Spectre would wipe thanos out of existence.

Well, the way the Avengers and the JLA are, the JLA offer more options strategy-wise... especially if you have Batman (vet if it's strictly by team affiliation)...

It may all change though, if there's a Captain America re-issue (of course, he has to be similar to Batman, with lesser stealth and outwit in favor of charge and CCE).

I'm playing in a 800 point tourny this Saturday - JLA versus Avengers (affiliatons only).

There should be no way the can beat the JLA.

The only dangerous Avengers are Thor, Iron Man and She-Hulk. Everyone else can be taken out pretty easily.

And while Avengers do have PC and starting Outwit, the fact is 3 Perplexers + Impervious is too much to handle.

Of course the dice are the real deciding factor - and that's why we play the game. I just know I really hope I win the role o determine which team I'm fielding - especially since my Avengers team is about 30 points short...
