Hello all. I have a tournament coming up next weekend and wanted to get some feedback on the list I plan on taking. It's 500 points, modern age. Here's the list:

AA Metron (195)
GSX Professor X (123)
CL Mr. Fantastic (100)
CL Spider-Man (50)
WoS Researcher (15)
WoS Researcher (15)

Total: 498

Metron is an obvious choice and he heads out into the field to do nasty things to my opponent, he's the forward piece to the team. He can also carry around Spidey for some added mobility and tie-up to the team. Prof X stays in the back shooting out of the pieces around the field for 4 penetrating damage. Mr. Fantastic can hang back and either boost up the Professors attack (almost making any attack a guaranteed hit) or he can trail Metron and Spider-Man to boost their stats as needed. Metron and the Professor can handle most nasty stuff that needs to be outwitted and Metron can help Spidey land some hits with his perplex and prob control. I know I lack any type of move and attack but I think I can handle a lot of different teams with this current set up.

Metron can get around to just about anywhere on the board to help set up for a attack from the Professor and he packs a good punch himself. Spider-Man and Mr. Fantastic are also highly mobile and good support/tie-up pieces. I don't plan on moving too far away from the starting zone in order to give an added layer of protection to Professor X and hopefully I can have some success with my team. There isn't much in the way of combating stealth on your team. I like the team I guess just keep Metron from having two tokens on him. Perplex his defense to 20?

This team is pretty good. Any scientist team with Metron, Prof x and Mr. F is pretty good. I actually played against a team very similar to this one. Almost exactly like it, minus the researchers. I played against it with Magneto and co. (Hellfire team) Metron couldn't, or at least didn't want to, get close enough to mags to do any real DMG so I ended up winning. Beware of mags in your tourney lol
