Hey, I'm playing an a 300 pt modern age tourney Sunday and I was hoping for some thoughts on my planned team. It's a simple one.


SM001R - Superman - 150
GX036 - Professor X - 123
AA 006 - Gotham City Detective - 27

TOTAL - 300


Like I said, simple. And the strategy should be self explanatory. Blitz with Supes while X stays back with GCD boosting and defending him. Hopefully Superman can get the first hit in on the largest threat and X can finish them off. Then outwit any powers around that could let the enemy reach Superman and repeat next round. If things get bad for Supes then GCD can break off from X and run in to play tie up. I know it's a crazy squishy team so first strike will be paramount.

The only thing that really worries me is a cheap double Superman team...that would definitely be a problem.

I would appreciate any advice on other potential hazards or thoughts on strategy with the build. Thanks in advance!

I don't think that Professor X brings enough to the table in the 300 point format. Superman is a little shallow himself but needs more support. I'm not saying to play something else but keep in mind mystics and other things that would harm your big gun like 2 supermen.

Although Superman can deal with stealth it can become troublesome if there are more than one fig with stealth since Professor X couldn't see them.
