When the character uses Mind Control, it can target a single friendly character that has already been given an action this turn. If the attack succeeds, after the action is resolved deal 1 unavoidable damage to the target.
When is the damage dealt. Roll the mind control attack give damage then action or roll mind control give action then damage.
If the character already has 2 action tokens on can this still be used?
If have 1 action token can this be used to give a double power action?
Thanks and GiG 'em! Whoop!
Lanterns Flashes and Hawkeye... all under represented in clix.
"When actions resolve" pretty much means after EVERYTHING has been accounted for:
1) Roll for Compel's use of Mind Control.
2) Succeed? The Compelled character now can act.
3) Resolve the attack. Deal the Compelled character a click of damage.
You can indeed do this on a pushed character; however, you cannot have them do a Double Power Action since they have either 1 or 2 tokens...they need to be completely clear to pull off a DPA.

I believe that it has been ruled the opposite way for the DPA during a MC action. Even if the character being MC'd has 1 or 2 actions, you can still give them a DPA to activate a power they have. They just won't take tokens for it.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........

Hmm.....
Mind Control and Compel will get a second look for me.
That sounds like a great use for them.

Where'd you see that? It's definitely news to me.
Gotta check the PG, obviously...

Mind Control
Give this character a power action; it makes a close combat or
ranged combat attack (minimum range value 4) as a free action
that deals no damage. A successfully hit target becomes friendly to
your force. Each target hit may be assigned one action as a free
action, immediately after which the target becomes an opposing
character again. Deal this character 1 unavoidable damage for
each 100 points of the successfully hit targets' combined point
value.
Is a Double Power Action an action? Yep. So you may assign one as a free action with MC. And free actions don't give out tokens.

Beaten by Orange I was going to post a link to this thread:
Ok so if a figure is given an action then mc compelled to take a double power action, after that resolves (non critical hit) how much damage would he take?
Just the one compel damage. Or pushing damage as well from the dpa?

Just the 1 unavoidable from Compel. The DPA is a free action, so there would be no push involved.

Mind Control grants the controlled figure an action, and no matter what that action is, it is a free action. So if you mind control a figure, and use a power that normally would be a double power action, you still would not assign tokens since the action granted via mind control is a free action.
