To those who witnessed darkseid/big figure/squirrel teams go up against imperiex/metron/kid zoom teams state how close the battles were and who won? I'm very intrigued as to how this played out at different venues

This should be a non issue, big figure will die then darkseid will be pulsewaved. The whole strategy of the darkseid big fig squirrel team falls apart. If you asked me to build a team designed to beat darkseid big fig it would probably be imperiex/metron. So this is a little like asking how rock fared against paper at every ones venue.

I got destroyed by imperiex 2 games in a row in my ig tourny while playing darkseid. pretty much what jon said.

Yeah, that's not even a competition if the Imperiex player is even half-decent. Imperiex > Darkseid

But with big figures mastermind, he too could pass off damage. Granted the ability can be outwitted, but the combination of Darkseid's range, and them needing to base darkseid to eliminate psychic blast give darkseid and the secondary attacker first strike, no?

Why are you arguing? Two outwits, one from a giant means big figure has no powers, and is one shotted. Yes one of darkseid's minion may get first shot. Best case that is pluto, with a twelve attack probably on a twenty one def:cross-eyeense. If you hit, metron heals. You really just seem to want to know what to play locally. Imperiex/metron is the second or third best team I know of. The best darkseid is like fourth or fifth, and doesn't have big figure. Play imperiex. Play well. Profit.

I beat a darkseid team with supermen..no need for metron or IMperiex.

Not really arguing...I've all but decided on my team but was interested in actual reports of this matchup. It's gone the other way in a different thread. It's a curiosity thing

I would say that the average Imperiex team trumps the average Darkseid team. This shouldn't have come as much of a surprise though, with one of the major weaknesses of all Darkseid builds being pulse wave...

i played a 500pt match and used teen keyword and beat a darksied team

i beat a darkseid team with nothing but my LE McGuyver figure, a stick of gum, and some paperclips.

That must be the McGuyver that got the "hulk" treatment because a real representation should of cured cancer and world hunger with all those resources. Seriously though, great post Milk err Mark.
