Modok has a variation that ignores goons sharing his keyword. That can catch folks unaware in fun ways.

Figures sporting both Perplex and Pulse Wave can micromanage their range quite effectively and get in some sneaky shots.

Pairing Pulse Wave with Barrier can channel what otherwise appears to be a weak multi-target attack into a potent single-target punch. Always fun.

Big figures can catch people napping by lining up Pulse Waves that cross Elevated terrain.

And there are several collosals that lock damage at something other than one when using Pulse Wave. Those usually also have ridiculous range so the effect can be a tad demoralizing.

alot of good pulse wave characters......I just checked out nemesis though....he excites me.
