yes, if the target of the attack actually took damage, and the attack made with hss is a close combat attack.

Just make sure you dont heal off of hypersonic speed. like a crit miss the click of damage or healing that you get is applied right away, not at the end of the action.

You HAVE to use steal energy. If you knowingly do not heal then it would be considered cheating.

Oh, WOW! I (once again) crit missed off of HSS (with Speed Demon) but I have NEVER healed off of HSS!

I have stole energy off of willpower and had to push. That pisses me off almost as bad as pushing onto willpower. Wait, actually, it's about the same thing, I guess. Now I'm really mad.
