Originally posted by Bloodsword I kinda feel what you are saying with EE Splitsecond. I am a big fan of the damage EE can shell out. The new wording does tone EE down a bit with enhancment (still waiting on if the sheild will be the same way.)
I have a tourney this sunday and I am not sure if I should handle sheild TA the same as Enhancement. I think I will just to be safe and fair.
SHIELD is in a kind of limbo right now.
Your best bet is to ask the judge before the tourney and see how he is ruling it right now.
I'm still not sure as to when to expect the re-writes.....
I personally don't think you should waterdown the EE & SHIELD combo. The SHIELD Team Ability does take an action after all. You're paying for the extra punch, you might as well get it.

Have you seen the FAQ? The latest version says: During these attack actions, a character may use any powers normally allowed during a close combat attack action, including Blades / Claws / Fangs."
...and since Incapacitate can be a close combat action, that applies.
So yes, you CAN Flurry and Incapacitate.

I support Gacy's Clown. That's right, I said Gacy's Clown. Maybe next I'll support a user named "Gein's Nipple Belt."

Please read the other thread(s) on this matter. Incapacitate requires its own close combat action to activate which flurry does not allow. This is how the judges have been told to rule and this is what the FAQ entry is supposed to represent. BCF does not require a close combat action to activate, it can be activated "during" a close combat action so it's allowed.

I love this game, but the fact that new FAQs keep coming out every month and I feel like I have to constantly read the forums to understand/learn the new rule changes is starting to get old.
i believe flurr and incapacitate work together because in the FAQ it says nothing about it and I wont believe that it dosent work until i see it. the judges who are getting thier info about this here are not my judge or your jusges (no offence intended) your jusges will probably say it works because it does not say utherwise in the FAQ so really we can discuss all we want but it still works until printed in writing utherwise.
Originally posted by Nickel97 Where are these other threads that say you can't Flurry Incap?
The other threads are the No Flurry + Incap thread in this forum and the thread discussing the new FAQ in the news and press releases forum. I believe Brother Magneto posted the initial response in the judges forum on the wizkids site.

The entry from the FAQ was meant for just this situation. That powers like BCF will work with flurry, incapacitate will not. The explanation clarifying this entry has been given so any judge that is ruling otherwise in a tournament is ruling incorrectly and should be keeping more up to date with the judges forums.

Thanks for the info CM. I found another thread, and posted my, rather long, thoughts on this topic there. Brother Magneto is rather irksome.
I understand how the new rules work in this case. I want to know "why" they work that way - what's the rationale for the change, where's the potential brokenness of allowing it to work this way, where's the point cost value imbalance, where' is the claim "this isn't how it was originally intended to work when we designed medusa specifically with a click of this power combination."
Here's to Heroclix v.3.
This is What I Want(ed, circa GSX/2010): Nextwave ATA: 100 pts. may use all Team Abilities as long as force is only Nextwave keyword.
