My question is pretty simple, but I just wanted to make sure I had it right.
If Adam Warlock outwits Power Cosmic on say Thanos. And on Thanos's turn he pushes to hit Warlock and Warlock loses outwit. What happens first?
Does Power Cosmic come back and protect Thanos from the pushing damage or does he take the damage and then get Power Cosmic back?
Make it even more simple.
Plain ol' Outwit from Joe Character is used to counter Mr. Stamina's Willpower. Mr. Stamina pushes to attack Joe Character and the damage from the attack causes Joe Character to lose Outwit. The effects of Outwit end immediately and Willpower returns. Now the action resolves and the action token is placed; since Mr. Stamina can use Willpower, there is no pushing damage applied.
Remember that figures that have been previewed might not have the correct wording.
If he looses outwit, the power/abilities will return.
Thanos will have his powers returned prior to him taking pushing damage.

I know this doesn't add anything to the question or answer but, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Mr. Stamina!
