Quick question, when you use outwit, I know you can use it on a special ability that's on the dial, say Amadeus Cho's "7TH SMARTEST IN THE WORLD" ability. But can outwit be used to counter, let's say Cho's "UNLIKELY DUO" power? That power is a Star Power that he has no matter what. This question came up the other night when we were playing IG Month 3 at our venue and we weren't sure.
So I came to the best rulebook place I know!

You can't outwit traits (or "star powers" as you call them). However, if a trait is worded that a figure "possesses" a power, that power can be outwitted.
So the easy reference: If a trait says "This figure can use ... ", that power can't be outwitted. If a trait says "This figure possesses ...", you can outwit that power.
