1) Storm TA-Heal Jean. Roll is 1. Jean heals 2, Storm takes 1. I realize that the roll says Storm TA-Heals Cyke. Dammit. Cyclops heals 2, Storm takes 1.
2) Beast TA-Heal Cyke. Roll is: 3. Cyke heals 2, Beast takes 1.
3) Cyke willpower-push to TA-Heal Jean. Roll is: 3, Jean heals 2 and Cyke takes 1, but no push click.
At the beginning of each player's turn that player must roll a d6. On a roll of 1, feats assigned to characters controlled by that player are ignored until the beginning of the next players turn.

Reason: Jean should've been on Click 2, not 3. Sorry.
1) "If you wished for a slow, drawn out death, you should just have told me..." Holocaust chuckles madly to himself as he stalks towards the huddled X-Men. Holocaust moves to O8-9/P8-9
2) In the meantime, Nocturne sees her chance to make sure Bobby gets out alive as she drags his unconscious body away to R2

1) "Hah! Do you truly think the First Horseman of Apocalypse would be unable to see such an obvious trap? No, I think not!" Holocaust shouts as by some miracle cooler heads prevail within his seething furnace. "Maybe I'll go amuse myself with your frozen friend while I wait... I'm sure his screams will draw you out soon enough!" Holocaust stomps *back* to "play" with look Iceman "...WHAT? Who stole my toy?" Holocaust roars in frustration as he finds only a puddle of water where the fallen X-Men had previously been! He continues on to L1-2/M1-2 in his search. No pushing damage thanks to Willpower

I had to think LONG and hard on that turn, but in the end, I just couldn't justify charging Holocaust into that defensive position you've set up at this point in the game. My apologies.

Quite all right. I had a backup plan.
X-Men Turn 13
"You're sure about this, Scott? She seems to be protecting Bobby."
"She also had a hand in knocking him out and attacking us, Ororo. They're all together -- so we use her to draw him out."
"Just as he was willing to use Bobby to draw us out?"
"Dammit, Storm, what other option do we have?"

Forgot to give Holo his click of damage. Had to re-think my entire turn.
This is possibly the most fun I've had in Clix in a while. I know that logically I just need to take out Noctourne and stay our of your way to win. But part of me really wants to slay the dragon.

Right down to the wire indeed! I've got a couple of options open to me, but after careful, *careful* consideration, I think this is the best one left, even if it isn't all that glorious. Oh, and I took the liberty of adding a token and a click of damage to Jean from your turn.

And there we have it. Unless I've made some sort of catastrophic miscalculation, it will all come down to *one* final attack on the last turn of the game...

In retrospect, I should have moved Jean into the restrooms where you couldn't get a bead on her. I think I was too stressed from having my giant-killer plan not work out... hooboy.

I *think* I'd have been able to bust down a wall with Holocaust on turn 14 and still draw a bead on Jean for the last turn even if she had crawled into the restrooms to hide, but I'm not sure. At any rate... here we go, for all the marbles!
Exiles: Turn 15
De-feated doesn't matter
1) "I think I'll feed your blackened bones to Weapon X when I'm done with you..." Holocaust chuckles as he levels his massive arm-cannon on Jean Grey and unleashes a murderous blast of pure, seething atomic agony! Holocaust shoots Jean. 9 atk. vs 12 (+2 from energy shield, +1 from terrain) def. Needs a 6. Roll is: ..... drum roll please.... (3,3) for a 6 and JUST BARELY a hit! Jean takes 2 and is KO'ed! 1 SA, 1 KO and 1 from the push for Holocaust who takes home the gold!
free) Holocaust rolls to steal life (just because) roll is: 5 and he gets it, healing right back up again
As Holocaust's infernal wave rushes towards her, Jean puts up the strongest telekinetic shields she can muster. But... without the power of the Phoenix Force at her disposal, even her vast strength proves too little against the onslaught of the First Horseman and with a scream of pain and agony she collapses under the effort of maintaining her shields.
"Now... let's see if you can truly rise... from the ASHES!" Holocaust laughs madly as he strides towards the prone and helpless Jean with indomitable purpose, the ground trembling beneath his every step.
As he draws near, however, his giant frame suddenly grows translucent and fades away like morning dew "No... NO! Not NOW! I will NOT be cheated of my vengeance!" Holocaust roars in impotent fury as he's drawn back to the Crystal Palace along with the rest of the Exiles, their mission in this time-line apparently completed...

And that's all she wrote for this one! Thanks for an *awesome* game Peers, right down to the wire on the very last attack roll. I can honestly say that this is by far the most exciting and challenging game I've had with the Exiles so far in this league!
