If the biggest problem in your life is one which involves spending time posting a daily multi-paragraph exegesis to a message board expressing your outraged indignation over how your little plastic toy was assembled wrong, I'd say you've got a really ####ing cushy life.
Damn, dude, you must be one super-entitled #######. It must be awful when something really bad goes wrong, like if the gal making change at Starbucks accidentally shorts you a nickel.
Awful for her, I mean.
You go first. Show us how it's done.
PLEASE.
All i'm doing is defending myself against those who look to question my opening statement which was more aimed at how to fix the problem with Galactus base (as i've already mentioned before if you care to read the thread through?). I understand people make mistakes but as others have pointed out, it's one that seems to have arisen quite often.
At no point have i expressed myself as being "Outraged" as you stated. I said i was annoyed, at worst. You are putting words in my mouth or making up your own fantasy to how big a problem i feel it really is.
Like i've suggested, i've only defended myself when (Not aiming this at anyone in particular) "Baron Hypocrite" speaks down to me from their very high-horse.
I think i'm perfectly within my right to be passively annoyed at shoddy workmanship regardless of their situation. It's not my fault that their economy and rules/regulations are the way they are. It's simply putting component A in slot A, B into slot B and so on.
Do you think that everyone in the world who buys something that was made in China (or any other under paid nation) have no right to complain if they find out that what they bought doesn't hold up to the standards that they would expect? Is there some sort of international leeway that i'm not aware of that companies are given against complaints due to them deciding to exploit a nations workforce thanks to that nations employment stipulations?
Anyway, you're making a vast assumption that the Chinese employees that make this product have terrible working conditions. Yes there is a presumption (i say presumption because i've only heard about it and i've not physically been there to see it for myself) that people over there have it hard but how do you know that this applies to everyone in China? How do you know that WK haven't gone through employers that do offer reasonable working conditions? Have you physically been there to confirm this? ... I doubt it.
Yes i am annoyed that one person from China didn't do their job correctly but that at the same time means i'm annoyed at WK for the quality control they enforce. I shouldn't be made to look like the bad guy because i didn't get what i paid for from a company that we all seem to be agreeing are exploiting the Chinese population. If you really have an issue with people being exploited over there, maybe you shouldn't support the companies who do exploit them by not buying their products?
Just sayin'
You can be annoyed your item is not what you wanted. That sucks. You can blame the company for not having a policy that lets you "fix" it. But your first reaction was to the extreme working poor. That is why we are upset with you.

I'll refer you again to this;

I can understand why you are upset and assume the worst but i find it unreasonable to find issues on what some random says over the internet when yourself contribute to the problem by handing over your money to companies who will exploit these nations to maximise their profits.
Don't get me wrong, in an ideal world i'd love for everyone to be on an equal footing. Sadly that's not the way life works but we all have to deal with it.
