Yes, that is right.

Any line of fire crossing a square of blocking terrain is blocked (except for a line of fire between two characters on an elevation higher than that of outdoor blocking terrain). -2011 rulebook page 12. Galactus is on higher elevation (due to being colossal), but the object is not. Since both are not on higher elevation that the blocking, line of fire is blocked.
