My question is regarding #010 Adam Warlock and his trait:

HE IS ME, AND I AM HIM: After an action resolves during which Adam Warlock took damage from an opposing character, you may replace him with #020 GG Magus on the same click number.

If I build an Infinity Gauntlet theme team and during the course of the game I switch to Magus, I lose the theme bonus, correct? The bonuses, namely the theme PC's would return if reverted?

The main question is this: with the month 6 IG event a 400 non-generic theme team is required. If I build an Infinity Watch team, does it only need to be a legal Theme for build purposes, or does the requirement of a non-generic theme preclude Adam Warlock from turning into Magus because at that time the team would not be theme?

Theme team is ONLY checked at the beginning of the game, so you would not lose theme team benefits if Warlock changes into Magus.

However, because Magus does not have the theme team keyword, he would not be able to use the theme team probability.

If you start with 4 theme team probs, you don't lose them, even if you lose some of the keyworded figures. It's no different than if Warlock was KO'd.

I was pretty sure about not being able to use the theme PC's while Magus was on the board, but good to hear it wouldn't somehow disqualify the theme mid game and make it an illegal build.

Nothing stops you from using the TTPC while you have Magus. The only thing you can't do is assign Magus the token for the TTPC. The remainder of your team can use it just fine.

Clarification. If Magus is on your team, he cannot use the TTPC, but any of the other members of your team can.
