I'd say no because it says outwit them as if they were powers and those Team Abilities specifically say their powers can't be countered, but it's still up for debate.
Thank god it was ruled that way. Hes awesome enough as it is for 50pts in that he can already outwit pretty much all other team abilities and is indom. and pd.
If he could outwit Power Cosmic and Quin. He woulda been on every team from now until forever.
You say that, but the Dissent feat isn't actually used that often, though it certainly can Outwit Power Cosmic and Quintessence, and I don't see it used that much.
I was thinking that TA's were considered Abilities and not a Power. That's where I was coming from. Just was curious. Since the ability says there powers can't be countered nothing about an ability can't be countered. But the wording on how it counters team abilities as if they were powers is tricky.
When the character uses Outwit, it may choose to counter a team ability possessed by a single target opposing character as if that team ability were a power, instead of countering a power.
See what I mean?

Here's the current text:
Choose a character. When the character uses Outwit, it may choose to counter a team ability possessed by a single target opposing character.
The "as if it were a power" bit was removed specifically because it prevented Dissent from being able to counter Power Cosmic and Quintessence.
