The reason Moon Knight is so good is clearly apparent from the comments here: he's always underestimated. I used this terrible, 38 point piece with a useless special power to put serious hurt on Blue Flash not long ago.
I can't believe you guys gave him an average of three stars. How many modern age figures can hide in the object they are carrying? How many under 50 points? Give him the Rip It Up feat and now he's carrying around his own stealth for under 60 points. Y'all are nuts. screw the questionable special power. you'll never need it if you play him right.
i just retire him from modern age by KOing the blackest night Wonder Woman to win my last game. i will miss him from modern play, he is one of my Favorites, but he went out on a high note. still will enjoy him in golden (and silver) age games, not a bad way to spend 38 points at all
Did perplex work differently in the past or am I just misunderstanding "after actions resolve?"
After Moonknight uses perplex he takes 1 damage. Once the target of perplex takes damage the effect ends. So either the using perplex in this way is completely pointless, or free actions aren't considered part of "after resolving action."
The way I understand it now is that the Perplex isn't resolved until the action where it applies is used.
Same way replace then modify works. If you Perplex up someones speed from 9 to 10 and then Charge, the distance you can move is 6, not 5. Because you first replace the value (half movement) to 4.5 (rounded up to 5) then add the one from Perplex to get 6.
I'm guessing the same thing happens here. You Perplex up your attack, but the Perplex doesn't resolve until you make an attack. If you Perplex up you're defense I don't think it would resolve until you were damaged (effect or Perplex ends) or your next turn.
I'm not 100% though. Just my current thoughts on it.
