Stores buy them and can do what they want with them. Some might give them out at events, but others just sell them. They look like Gravity Feed boxes. I accidentally bought two Super-Novas thinking they were Gravity Feeds...
I'm thinking of using him in a 400pt Avengers team, but at that value he seems to high (almost half the total). I'm not too sure how well he'd handle without any move-attack ability.
I can see this guy doing pretty well in some high point robot keyword theme teams. He has some solid stats and I really like his SP's. My main problem with this guy is no move and attack and point cost. I think some running shot may have made him worth the 185; but with this dial, I feel he could have been a little cheaper(Maybe around 150-160's). All in all, a solid marquee figure.
This piece is fantastic. Unoutwittable Impervious and those stats are great, and that reroll abilty is power. Statistically you should see a six about 30% of the time on an attack roll. On an attack that actually hits it is obviously far more common. With this figure, instead of rerolling the pair you force them to keep those 1s or 2s the six was paired with and just reroll the 6? Wow. I haven't done all of the math but statistically thats probably better than PC given his defense numbers.
Victor is a beast in the Comics, and it is well represented here. No move and attack needed, he has the combo of Phasing Teleport, Solid Range, and Willpower. That gives the piece PLENTY Of mobility.
Awesome fig...i have no prob with no RS here...a full dial of phasing with idomitable and good range is just fine...especially combined with very good attack & damage values, outwit, and tremendous defense powers and values (opening 18 and lots of 17s with 4 clix of unoutwitttable imp. plus the bonus vs armor/robots, and of course the special reroll power, which as someone mentioned I feel is better defensively then prob statistically speaking). pound for pound top 3 fig in the set for the points and that is saying alot for CW
