Interesting question here, would Pulse Wave ignore First Turn Inmunity as it is a game effect? (I even think it doesnt even target, its just draws LoF).
well, here is what the rules state for that: "FIRST-ROUND IMMUNITY
During the first round of the game, characters that have not been given an action, placed, or moved can not be targeted by opposing characters, knocked back, attacked, or damaged, unless a game effect that does so specifically states that it occurs at the beginning of the game."
PULSE WAVE Give this character a ranged combat action; it can use
, , and halves its range value until the action has been resolved.
Draw lines of fire to all char acters within range in every direction, including
at least one opposing character. All game effects possessed or used by other
characters with a line of fire dr awn to them are ignored until the action has
been resolved. If ignoring a game effect would cause a character with a line of
fire drawn to it to no longer have a line of fire drawn to it, then it is not ignored.
If lines of fire can be dr awn to two or more other characters, this character’s
damage value becomes 1 and is locked. Make a single ranged combat attack and
compare the attack total to the defense value of all other characters with a line offire drawn to it; each character hit is dealt damage
Edit: So...being that it is still a damage, I think it would still be first round immunity.
No, you are right on the money there. It is an enhancement figure along with barrier on the first click.
Edit: Also, only the GG, CW and the Hulk can be used at my venue, no Fast Forces figures. Now, I do like the idea that I downgrade the Gauntlet in this case with just the TK ability. And take a click to use it, but I also expect not to have the figure around after the first wave of the Pulsewave strikes and they get their turn on something like that.
Ahh yes, I realized that after I had left the house, I would probably go with a build similar to yours, but just with a tiny switch, like this,
Black Bolt 193pts
Astral Strange W/Gauntlet (1 Gem) 28pts
A.I.M. Agent x2 76pts
A.I.M. Renegade 34pts
Xavin 75pts
Ultron 90pts OR (Nebula 83pts and add 2 gems to the Astral).
= 496pts OR 499pts
Just an idea. (I do love the Hawkeye though, if you are able to use his t-bolt ATA)
I also played around with another Xavin as a secondary. The quad perplex could be extremely helpful, but you'd have a weird number of points left over.

This was extremely helpful Hawkeye! Thank you. I am playing with an dea now because of your idea and will let you know what I come up with in the end.
It is going to be a fun match between these two in the final end of it all in my battle that I am setting up for myself LOL. Thank you for the input and I am going to really give this team a more intense look as well, but think that this team is nasty enough to really give Sentry and Void a good go!
The Blackbolt Bomb, again, is a good Alpha Strike. However, if you are using it to disrupt Sentry/Void, Blackbolt does too much damage. I know that sounds crazy, but if you wind up hitting Sentry/Void for 4, it puts him right back into Multiattack HSS, right where you don't want him to be.
If i were to make a 500 pt blackbolt bomb team from the sets you mentioned i think I would go with this:
Blackbolt 193
Xavin 75
Astral strange w Space 28
AIM Agent 38
Morg 165
Blackbolt is a bomb and that's basically it. He's likely going to get murdered turn 2 and its sort of all-or-nothing hitting that first attack. Morg allows for cleanup with power cosmic and HSS, plus with the backup of the perplexes and tks he should have a ton of mobility.
That said I'd still go with ventry due to the map that you have to play on.
