I think he's trying to get you to read the actual game text.

As pointed out above, nowhere in that effect does it reference any kind of attack.

He's trying to get you to see why that is important.

Since there's nothing to make Thanos power an attack, and activating Mystics requires an attack, then one can deduce that Mystics does not get triggered.

He isn't talking about searching the forums. He's trying (in his way) to teach you how to look at powers and be able to determine these things.

Yeah, I get it, but how many times has someone misinterpreted the text? That is why I post the questions, to be sure that I did not miss something. I thought that's what this forum was for.

I think most peoples problem is that they over complicate the rules. They are really not that hard to understand no matter what people say.
