All very informative. Carry was confusing me too. I think it confuses a lot of noobs.

Here's another question: From the PAC card:
"A character which has been carried this turn can’t be given an action (other than a free action) until the beginning of the next turn."

This clearly indicates that a character cannot be carried and then be given a move or power action afterward. But, can a character take a move or power action and THEN be carried? The rules seem to say "yes" because there's nothing in the rules about the character being carried not having any action tokens.

If the figure being carried is adjacent to an opposing character, is a break away role needed? For example:

C

C can carry B. B is adjacent to A, C is not. Can C carry B away from A?

Two things are required for break away: that the character attempts to move on its own and that the character is adjacent to an opposing character.

A character that is carried is not attempting to move on its own. No break away roll is necessary.
