Does EE splash damage still stack? In the old rules splash stacked, but I've heard rumblings that under the new rules, splash damage doesn't stack. The PAC description doesn't suggest this and I looked it up in the FAQ, but the example doesn't cover this.
For example if you triple attack three figures adjacent to each other (A next to B next to C) and hit all three. If splash damage stacks, then A takes 2 clixs (one for the attack and one splash damage from B), B takes 3 clixs (one from attack, two splash damage from A & C), and C takes 2 clixs (one from attack, one from splash damage from B). If it doesn't stack, then all three take two damage.
Actually the FAQ does cover this a bit with the example under energy explosion but it is somewhat hidden. Splash damage does indeed still stack and in the example in the FAQ they have B take 3 damage and list it as 1 for each successful "indirect hit". The change is actually with enhancement and SHIELD where they no longer get added on with each splash but get added on to the total damage dealt after determining the initial EE damage.
So in your example, B would take 3 damage.
If the EE was being enhanced then you would add 1 damage dealt to each character hit (A and C would be 3, and B would be 4).

Splash damage still stacks. What's changed is that Enhancement and Shield no longer stack. Under the old rules, if you enhnanced and EE, you'd hit all the targets for 2 clicks, and splash 2 clicks to all adjacent figures, effectively splashing the bonus. Under the new rules, you simply add 1 click for every Enhancement or Shield to every succesfully hit target.
