Wow......I just cried out of sheer happiness now. Regardless of all the people that will say Batman isn't that powerful, he is that powerful in my mind!!!!!!!!!!
That's it. We've now indisputably entered fanboy la-la land. This guy is 80 points more than Lamp-post, who himself was overdone for Batman. And it's not even accurate. Instead of that boring attack SP, he could have had some Incapacitate and Smoke Cloud. But no, he's all brawler, with ridiculously inflated numbers. A potential 19 defense or 13 attack? 4 damage with Flurry? This isn't Batman. I'd say it's another Midnighter dial, except even the Midnighter isn't this good.

Hater pure hater who probably believes every character is overrated in DC
I am also assuming you don't read DC from the standpoint he does get into BRUTAL battles with enemy's way way stronger then he is and still walks away.
Goes to show you shouldn't assume. I'm actually a DC enthusiast, I have 10 times as many DC comics and clix as Marvel stuff. And Batman is one of my favorite characters. That's why I want to see him represented accurately.
As for brutal battles... In Superman/Batman, wearing a suit of Mother Box-generated armor (Iron Man Briefcase?) Batman picks a fight with Darkseid to stall for time. When he hits Darkseid, the weapons on his battlesuit crack and break, but Darkseid barely flinches. Darkseid then proceeds to beat the hell out of him, too strong and fast for Bruce to fight back.
Yes, he did walk away from that, but that was because he went into the fight with a plan, expecting to take a beating but with an ace up his sleeve to dissuade Darkseid from outright killing him. Because, you know, he's Batman and that's how he works.
Now in HeroClix, this Batman could walk up to Crisis Darkseid, assured of getting the first blow thanks to Stealth, Charge and his Trait, and trade blows with a better than even chance of coming out on top. That's just not right.
So ignore -who- it is, and get over it. Because this is a game. A game where the Penguin can weaken Superman enough to knock him out. So, either accept that this isnt a comic simulation and is simply a mini game with super hero theme OR stop playing. No really, just stop. But. If youre still playing (and you are) just look at the dial and judge it for a 200pt character and its awesome. Not broken. Not overwhelming but solid and fair. I like it. But Im not overly impressed compared to DKR versions.
*Hallelujah Chorus*...*Tears of Joy*...For those of you who DON'T think Batman should be this powerful, you're nuts. And you don't know Batman. If he had Invulnerability, yeah, I'd agree he'd be a little over the top, but he has a great defense, and Toughness. SOOOO love the Swingline ability. This preview (as well as the Batmobile) officially made my year...
"Our mother has been absent ever since we founded Rome; but there's gonna be a party when the wolf comes home."
So is anyone else Super excited that the vanilla attack power means little to no overlapping with the Utility Belt? I'm really looking forward to running a fully powered Belt with Bruce and maybe the Bat-Wing. Who knows!
