I have two events in the next few days. Each follows the standard format. ATAs allowed. FF allowed. Gauntlet not allowed. I completey expect to see multiple sentroids, chanos, unspoken shutdowns, and dr dangs. I'm thinking of the following two teams:
Team 1
Morgan Le Fay
Scarlet Witch (75)
Donald Blake
Hawkeye w/ Tbolts
Hollywood
Mockingbird (25)
Team 2
MLF
Scarlet Witch (75)
Donald Blake
Hawkeye w/ Tbolts
Wasp (77)
Rick Jones
Mockingbird
Gamma Bomb
I really want the tbolts on hawkeye in case I need mlf to see through stealth. As for strategy, it depends on the opponent. I'm banking on being player one. If the player has chanos, i move morgan, carrying witch and wasp. Turn two i tk hawkeye, have two running shots, and lots of perplex. If they go shut down, I can spread my characters and attack from all angles. If I see a sentry, the plan is to get Morgan out there to perplex him down. Witch, wasp, hawkeye go for the swarm.in all cases, i hope to park hawkeye on the gamma bomb at the end of the running shot. If I use hollywood instead of wasp, I have less room for perplex but I do gain a character who can take a beating. This is especially true against a chanos pull, but hollywood means less mobility.

have you thought about Sharon Carder i feel like mocking bird is kind of a waste of points just to give hawk-eye +1 AV, I also assume that you only have one scarlet witch because if you have more play them. I personally am also a really big fan of playing extra Donald Blakes. wasp is going to be absolutely insane against anything without stealth, holywood also is pretty good but if your opponent knows the dial you won't be on the sick defense click much. I would probably go with team 2 although i don't know how much rick jones helps you.
that being said the sharon carder/sv/mlf team if they make their imperve or heal back to hhs squish goes hawkeye and you pretty much loose if everyone can make it to stealth that goes for either team keep in mind also that sv can have 21 DV and on that team on turn 4 sv can do 12 clicks of penetrating damage at range 12 with 13 av. if anyone runs it you also may have trouble with the dormanu/iron man team
so drop mocking bird and rick jones for 2nd donald blake and sharon carder or 50 pt scarlet witch also you could run 50pt mocking bird if you have hawkeye/mockingbird
I agree with the poster above, if you can run a second scarlet witch, do it. She's too good to not run multiples. Also, I think 2 blakes are not bad either. If you need a another beatstick, just AE him and there you go. However, if I had to pick, I would choose Team 1, just because you'll need a heavy beater to take down some of these folks such as chanos and ventry, and I feel Hollywood def fits that category.
Don't have two witches or I'd use another. I like Rick Jones because he adds the perplex and can ae into some good choices. He also had that wildcard. The extra Donald is a really good idea. I had mockingbird in there for potential tie up of some less meta teams, but Blake is a great thought. As for the turn four scare, with sv, especially with mlf, i think either team can play very aggressively. I can have two characters in wasp and hawkeye that can basically hit any square i want on turn two depending on placement. Hawkeye can one hit carter with boosts from witch and either Jones or my own carter, then wasp can ping sv. I know sv can get that boost from mlf and carter, but with carter down, the dv goes down to 20. If I miss, sentroid can choose to attack my guys, taking mystics from hawkeye. He'll be pushed, and in comes the cavalry of mlf, witch, and ae's to swarm that bugger
