Agreed. This is basically Batman at his maximum, and unlike the max Nightcrawler from WoS, this figure is more or less appropriately costed. That having been said, I now expect to see max versions of characters like Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Captain America, as there's now really no justification not to.
I agree completely. Thanks for saying it with words that make sense. :)

You have to be smoking something if you think this guy has a chance against Crisis Darkseid... I normally avoid this time of discussion, but he really has no chance. Assuming best case scenarios for Batman, he does before Darkseid is much more han halfway down his dial! (All rolls hit, no crit-hits, Bats gets the first hit, Darkseid misses all Impervious, and Darkseid somehow stood next to hindering terrain.)
Say Batman miraculously bases Darkseid without having been Omega-beamed in the face (remember that 6 range ignores terrain option?). Darkseid proceeds to perplex damage and knock 100 points off in a single hit! Batman perplexes Damage and Flurries, knocking him onto his first vanilla outwit click. Darkseid hits Batman to his 60 point line. Batman clears. Darkseid clears. Batman hits for one damage, and Darkseid kills him.
And this is with Batman being played well, and Darkseid being played poorly. Darkseid should be able to make use of his outwit, because he should be somewhere where he's not next to hindering terrain. And Batman loses the 6-range shoot out even quicker, as he loses the benefit of Flurry, and Darkseid can still see him!
Therr's nothing overpowered about this dial. Everything is accurate. You can stick to preconceived notions that point value is somehow related to power levels, but they really aren't...
Ok so explain to us even if the darksied player is good how then does he "Omega beam" this batman to hell with not move and attack and no indom? Push Batman to his second clix while basing a stationary darksied and outwit his damage power. Darksied has to hit a 19 without the use of his Omegabeams because that power is for ranged attacks. batman is on flurry with 11 attack and flurry. Outwit darkseid's impervious now and well you get the picture.
I get your point of defending the batman dial. as much as i would like to see a Cap, wolverine or spiderman with a point cost that represent them being superhuman, I am excited about this batman because, well he is batman and the implications for future dials of characters around his weight class.
although this hero click is amazing it is a little odd that batman is 200 points and is this strong. Don't get me wrong i love the piece but it just makes me wonder why???
To those who complain about this being an absurdly costed Batman. On the one hand, you're right.
But on the other hand, you're wrong. As others have pointed out, this is Heroclix, not the comics (if it were, it would be reasonably accurate, though of course the comics do sometimes wander off into the nether parts of fanboy la-la-land. "But it's so fun and safe here!") As we all know, in HC almost anyone can put a serious dent in almost anyone else.
On the other other hand:
This is the Batman who, in the comics, single-handedly took down at least three white Martians, all while Supes, the Big Blue Cheese himself, was tied up and beaten, by the leader said white Martians. And at the same time, Wonder Woman, valiant, smart, determined, and powerful as she is, struggled to beat down one female white Martian. Believeable or not, that's what sometimes happens in the comics with Batman.
This is the same Bats who took down, again single-handedly, Bizarro. And yet again it's the same Bats who also single-handedly (by proxy, one Talia al'Ghul) neutralized and nearly killed the entire main roster of the Justice League. Yes, the freakin' JLA, the cream of the over-powered types every DC-basher loves to complain about. Of course NONE of these events ever happened by him trying to brute-force or beat down anyone. Not even close. That could and would never happen, and everyone including Bats knows it. But Bats being who he is, one of the three of the Trinity, and the very same one Supes himself called "the most dangerous man on earth", and "the greatest detective the world will ever know", found a way to make it happen. (ie-one of his greatest strengths, and what helps him be so dangerous, is figuring things out and then capitalizing on what he's learned.)
So...given what I just reminded us of, then yes a 200 point Bats kinda does make sense, though at this point I'm still in shock and am still trying to accept it.
Oh yeah, where's my 200 point Captain America?? >:O

I just cannot stop smiling thinking about it. After seeing the Duo Chases from Chaos War, I really hope they make a Batman Inc duo figure of Bruce Wayne Batman and Dick Grayson Batman or a Trinity triple figure of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. Man, I really cannot wait until November, just hope they do not push it back.
I like it! Just like we (well, not me yet...) got Avengers Prime, I'm guessing we'll see a Trinity sort of figure. But that would probably be at least a 500+ point piece. That's assuming a conservative point cost for whatever Supes and WW comes in the new sets. But they cut the word "conservative" out of their dictionaries when they costed this figure (not that I'm complaining), so we'll probably see a 500 point Supes, and a 400 point WW. It's possible that this is the beginning of yet another new phase of Heroclix, and that most/all pieces that have come before are now the new Infinity Challege pieces.
But you know what this means, right? There's gonna be crying for a 200/100 point Captain America.
This is exactly why DC in the comics is OVERPOWERED compared to Marvel and it just carried over to heroclix; although it's nothing new just compare Manchester Black, Doctor Destiny, almost any Superman Click, or Brainiac to their Marvel clicks counterparts.
This Batman is 200 points and has a deeper dial than Apocalypse Con Exclusive is just ridiculous.
WorldBreakerHulk get's pointed at 350 points, at 150 points he's only five clicks deep. 350 points Wordlbreaker has 6 clix of Impervious while new JL52 Superman has 6 clicks of impervious for 150 points less.
Wizkids is pro DC. At least Marvel fans will always be cooler than DC fans.
As much as I love Marvel, I am very excited for this set. I grew up watching Batman the Animated Series, and this version of Bats with the really deep dial makes me think of how sometimes Bruce just doesn't know when to stay down. I enjoy the tenacity inherent in this dial. However, after reading some of the other comments, it seems that others look at it as a more cunning, choosing-the-best-time-to-strike, take-down-the-whole-Justice-League type of dial, which indicates to me that my typical strategy is... well, it's just terrible lol. In any event, I like how he fights, and if the headliner of the set gets a figure that is costed peculiarly, then I'm ok with it. Maybe it's accurate, maybe it's not. I don't really care if it's power is properly proportional to the comics, because it looks fun, and that's more important to me.
And no, I do not require a 200/100 version Cap... though I will patiently await my 400 pt Wolvie kthxbye!
Finally, as for DC vs. Marvel, don't care about which is more efficiently priced or not, because Vertigo (via Hellblazer) says "Cheers mate, no prob for any of you LULZ!"
Seriously though, after three full Marvel sets straight, I'm happy to see my DC brethren get some love. Cheers!

Well, if they do make a 400 point Wolverine then I hope they make a Cap with a SP that says: "If Wolverine is on the map, Captain America gets a free action to throw Wolverine off the airplane. Click Wolverine to his KO and remove him from the map."
I don't care how many points he's worth, I'd play him every game. Even if he was a chase pog I'd jump for joy and buy as many cases as it took to get him. :d-indomitable:
Well, if they do make a 400 point Wolverine then I hope they make a Cap with a SP that says: "If Wolverine is on the map, Captain America gets a free action to get Giant Man's help to throw Wolverine off the airplane, because he damn sure can't do it by himself. Click Wolverine to his next click and place him in any starting area, since not even this KO'd him."
Fixed.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
or wolverine could have a special power that once a game he can use a cheesy sword with his soul infused in it to ko a sabretooth clix since he couldnt get the job done any other way. and then put sabretooth back on the map because even hell couldnt hold him. in anycase 5' 2" hairy guys aside this bats is pretty sick i personal like the 100pt one better for the options in a 300pt game.
Well, if they do make a 400 point Wolverine then I hope they make a Cap with a SP that says: "If Wolverine is on the map, Captain America gets a free action to throw Wolverine off the airplane. Click Wolverine to his KO, remove him from the map, and send him express mail to Antarctica."
