I am playing a 300 points, modern age event this coming week and I would like to bring a competitive team. I decided on trying to make it an animal team and came up with the following.

AN014 - Beast Boy + Full IG (60+40)
GX040 - Sabretooth (93)
CA044 - Ursa Major (102)

Total: 295

I'm not entirely satisfied with the team here, however, so I was hoping for some help seeing what I can do to make it more effective.

Well I tried to come up w/something better....but for Animal keyword and Modern, but that's about as solid a team for 300 your gonna build. Don't forget to make the most of Beast Boys Outsider TA...could be very helpfull.

Only downside is Animals pretty much have no range....Close Combat, all the way!!!

I would start here:

59 CA056 Squirrel Girl
141 WS038 Noh-Varr

You can fit something in on the side, take out Squirrel Girl and put in something in the 100 point range, add the Gauntlet on Noh-Varr if you want, Animal TA, objects, etc..

The main idea here would be to give Noh-Varr cheap TK and it takes care of your no-range problem.

Sadly Noh-Varr is no loger Modern Age.

This one is interesting, but lacks punch, relying pretty much solely on Man-Beast. Also, who is the Full Gauntlet on? Also, what is Squirrel Girl's role on the team?

Well Squirrel Girl's role on any team is to provide Monkey Joe, and to be a semi-effective secondary attacker when you need it.

And take out Thanos.
