What if I give CW Hawkeye the Thunderbolts ATA so that he can use the Mystics team ability? Then since he is a Spiderman Ally TA (Wild card) he can copy someone with the CrossGen Indy TA (Mystics).
So....an opponent would take 2 damage each time they would damage him, right? One from CrossGen and one from Mystics.
No, you can only use it once (though you can T-Bolt him to Mystics and have Lord Recluse on your team and wild card it =])
I'm asking because this was done at my venue a few weeks back by another player and no one had a good answer including the judge.
The argument was that it isn't really double Mystics. They are two different named TAs. No? You can't use it twice because they have the same effect???

That will not work either, from the Player's Guide.

Wild cards cannot use a team ability if they are already using an identical mechanic through another game effect.
It has been ruled that they are identical mechanics.

A character may not activate the same game effect twice in one turn with free actions, unless the game effect indicates otherwise.

This is not really a free action issue... It is more along the lines of what I quoted up above.
