If White Queen is on Click 3 and promotes to Emma Frost do you then have the option of using her secondary mutation power to go diamond form since the power is just 'appearing'?

I would say that if you promote on click 3, you get the option. If you promote after click 3, you have to click to the same number. However, if you heal up to click 3, you could swap it to 8. Healing past click 8 was still fuzzy last I checked.

Keep in mind that this is a complex issue and I am saying all this based solely on the wording:

BATTLEFIELD PROMOTION: EMMA FROST: When White Queen hits one or more opposing characters, after actions resolve, place a Promotion Token on her character card. You may then roll a d6 that can't be rerolled and add 1 for each Promotion Token on her character card; on a result of 8 or higher, you may replace this character with M10A #014 Emma Frost on the same click number.

For what is said on this thread :
When this clic appears, you MUST stop turning.
When this power is showing, you MAY choose to click Emma to click #8.
So when you promote, this power is showing and you MAY choose to use it.

Oh i did search, that thread was almost an entire page about healing Emma on click 8. I didn't bother reading past the first couple responses. If people stopped piggybacking questions onto threads it would have been easier to search for it. That sounded a bit harsh, I didn't mean it badly, just an observation.
