So now we have the Justice League, Justice League International, and the Justice League of America? Trying to figure out how the nu52 reboot was used to clean up the JL clutter that seems to suddenly be back on the table. In other words, "WTF"?

JLI's been canned in lieu of JLA.
JLI and JLA are the more government-sanctioned teams, whereas the Justice League is its own entity.

I don't think Earth-2 has been that bad. Spoilers:
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
Sure Jay gets his powers from Mercury (which is more plausible that the usual hard/heavy water vapors accident), Alan Scott is a homosexual (and is granted his ring from what I assume is an Earth-based Starheart), Al Pratt is a government tool (and more like Atom-Smasher now), and Hawgirl is an unknown. But..
I have enjoyed it. Plus, you have to figure that Johns will probably assume writing duties on this book at some point. Afterall, the JSA is HIS baby. The work that David Goyer did on the JSA book and that Johns elevated is still one of the best run in team books IMHO.
Yeah, but Jay getting his powers from Mercury is way more cool than breathing hard water. I always thought his origin was rather lame. And what's wrong with Alan being gay? I'm down with more diversity in comics and as long as the character is written in the same spirit (black Fury and Kingpin are fine by me) and Robinson has written the voice of most DC golden age characters and done so beautifully.

Either way, news of her inclusion on a team book by Johns sounds better than Robinson's Earth 2 book, IMO.
I would disagree, but only because I like Robinson as a writer much more than Johns.

Yeah he is quite like Swampy. Very much reminds me of that really awesome Stan Lee writes the DC Universe Green Lantern story from years back. I always thought that was way more cool than meteor/Starheart or space cop origins.
Jade and Obsidian fans will vehemently disagree. Personally that is the only reason I hate it....They say they wanted to add another gay character....at the expense of wiping out a gay character...zero sum game...except Alan has slightly more name value as he is GL...just not THE GL...Otherwise I really dont care

I wasn't complaining. I like the book and I like the changes.

I don't like what they have done with Hawkman in nu52 but I still love the character so hopefully Johns fixes him like he did in JSA. Hopefully they'll keep Hawkman and Green Arrow hating each other. I love their contrasting personalities.
I've been following the setup with great interest. I like the idea of the team assembled out of fear of the JL. While I'm still tweaked over the loss of JLI and Booster Gold, I'm willing to give this team a shot.
As for Earth 2: I've been enjoying it. If you're not giving the book a chance because of either the costumes or Alan's new preference, you're cheating yourself out of a good book.
I'm prepared to give the JLA book a chance even though I've absolutely hated the reboots thus far (especially turning Superman into a rather pompous jerk). But I've always loved Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter so seeing them on a team makes me prepared to let bygones be bygones with DC.
