He-Man was a tad before my time, but I remember being young and playing with my older brother's hand me down toys when I was little. I also recall watching the animated series and what not when I was younger as well. I have been utterly disappointed with DC on every level post new-52 launch (and now yet another reboot...) almost to the point of dropping the 3 batman titles which is all I get...so I was apprehensive to pick up a new DC title. Seeing as I have always been fond of He-Man I did so anyhow. I was amazed at how good the first two issues were. It seemed as though it had been printed by a different company.
Seeing what other's thoughts were as well as if anybody had any information on some classic He-Man comics of any sort!

??
Unless you're refferring to how Marvel is copying DCs N52 stunt, what are you talking about?
Hey Roulklag! The #0 issues are not another reboot. They are just origin stories.
You don't really want to drop the Batman titles just before they launch into the Joker-starring "Death of the Family" crossover do you? You're going to kick yourself if you miss that one.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
I buy mainly DC, but none of the Bat books. Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Suicide Squad, and Demon Knights are solid titles with the current creative teams. I mainly follow those 4 along with the Legion books (fanboy), Action Comics by Grant Morrison, and Green Lantern by Geoff Johns. I find all 8 enjoyable, but I'd recommend the first 4 to any new readers.
Haven't read the new He-man stuff, but I've got to imagine it's handled better than the animated series re-boot a few years ago.

While I'm in the right age-bracket to be a fan of He-Man, it was, much like Transformers, something I just never got into as a kid, even though I fully respect its awesomeness.
That said, my Masters of the Universe-loving friends really dig the new comic. I'm not surprised, seeing as how it's written by James Robinson.

When it comes to Superman and Batman, Grant Morrison is nothing but a 50's cover band in a 70's psychedelic funk style.

I liked that series. Stinkor was downright hilarious whenever he got to speak, and the Snake-Men finally got their chance to appear in an animated series without being part of someone else's team, which they really deserved after all this time. About the only thing I didn't like about it was that their only villains that weren't someone from the old series were a bunch of generic characters. Plus, any series that has vegetables wanting to eat people (see the episode "Orko's Garden") is all right by me. That is all.
