So, if I'm reading this correctly (around the fluff and banter), the ORANGE answer here is, "If Dr. Doom and Kang are hit by Pulse Wave, and it knocks them to or past Inevitable Betrayal (click 6), they would not stop clicking, but WOULD choose to be either Dr. Doom or Kang for the rest of the game after that damage is resolved"?

That's my understanding. You won't stop turning the dial because of the power if PW damage was taking you past there, but after that action resolves you would still make the choice.
