So... can just anyone use the carry ability? I saw in another thread about how Iron Man drones could abuse their free movement ability to carry around other characters, but I can't see on their dial or card anything that says they CAN use the ability. They have the regular flight symbol, as apposed to the Transporter flight symbol... which says he can use the carry ability.

The symbols grant the power "Carry"

characters are allowed by be carried by anyone taller, in addition to the normal use of carry.

Certain things can grant the carry ability, such as the Space Gem.

There is a chart on the newest PAC that shows which symbols grant which powers.

Look at your PAC; regular fliers can carry, too.

The transporter symbol allows for the Move and Attack ability.

The symbol grants you two abilities...Flight and Carry.
The symbol grants you three abilities...Flight, Carry, and Move and Attack.

In general, the PAC will show you which symbols allow the use of the Carry ability.

There are other ways to get use of it, such as through special powers, but the PAC is where you want to look for your general answer.

Don't forget that giants can use carry through their giant reach ability.

Only when given a move action. No carrying while charging or running shot, or even HSS were a giant to have that.

I thought figures could carry other figures smaller than them?

That is one of the limitations for figures with the carry ability. Only tiny size grants an automatic carry by larger characters.

Is that due to the colossal size?

I mean to say can a colossal carry without the flight symbol?

No, you need the carry ability to carry (unless you are carrying a tiny size character) no matter what. However, if you have the carry ability you can carry any characters that are smaller than you as long as they are single base. Colossals that already have the carry ability can carry single base giants.

So, Con Exclusive Giant Man in Giant form can carry, but in Colossal form he can't?

Dazzler can carry a tune.

Yeah. Think of it this way: it's just SO FAR down to the ground for a Colossal, that were he to take the time to bend over and pick someone up delicately enough so as not to crush them, he'd get a swift kick to the head by way too many people.
