FINALLY we get a version of Batman who can give even Superman a run for his money! I cannot wait to pull this guy in sealed and just like the Common Superman for the set, I'm glad we are getting a Common Batman in his set.
I would have wanted him to have both Batman and Justice League or Outsiders on the TA but besides that keywords fit quite well.
The improved movement is much needed and welcome as batman should never be held down by those around him.
Then we have the Awesome Leader giving his stealth to all his lower point friends (with 200 points should be EASY to fit those under his cape so to speak) Very excited for him!!
bm001 Batman
Team: Batman Ally
Range: 6 :bolt:
Points: 200
Keywords: Batman Family, Gotham City, Justice League, Justice League International, Outsiders
(Special) Team Leader: At the beginning of the game, choose a keyword Batman possesses. All friendly characters with that keyword and a lower point value can use the Batman Ally team ability while Batman is on the map.
(Attack) I Will Not Fail Gotham: When Batman is marked with one action token, modify his attack value by +1.
This guy is going to be incredible on larger builds. His plethora of keywords will allow any halfway decent player to build around him. Incredible options, and stellar bang for the buck at either point value.

I don't see much point in this piece for under 500 pt builds, but at 500 and above I expect to see a lot of him. He doesn't really feel like batman to me, but then I've never been a fan of the Batgod. As it is he does make sense as that character, as much as anything makes sense in the universe of batgod. On a Justice League Team I will play him though. Darkseid here I come.

I suckered these guys into playing: Feedback Damage
I like that they moved a couple of dials out of Batman's standard point range. There's some argument about whether or not Batman would be this powerful, but I think it's possible with the right amount of preparation and situation. Batman has already displayed that he can beat Superman in the right situation. Not "do more damage than is proportional" to Superman, but actually win. While giving Batman way more health than normal might not have been the way to go, I like the high range figure. He also does something that most Batmans do not, which is that he works really well in a Justice League team by giving them all his team ability. It's not enough that Superman has HSS, Super Strength, or Impervious, but now he can use Stealth too? That makes this Batman a good central piece for a large Justice League theme team, which is (arguably) what he should be (from time to time).
This is what I would add to any Batman themed team. whether he's at 100pt or his 200pt value. Your going to find plenty of teams to put him on. Either as the tentpole or the tactical support. Best of all? He's common.
I love the dial by itself. The Batman TA for characters that share keywords will be great. But for 200 points isn't going to be hard to fit enough support on the team with him and if your not getting use out of that it will probably be better to just downgrade to the 100 point version or look elsewhere. The potential for abuse is there but the high point cost could hurt him. I'd like to see him used a few times before I say he is too good.
We've reached a new benchmark with this Batman. An everyday street level hero can now hit 200 points via creative interpretation of their powers and overall effect on the battle. It's almost ironically appropriate that it first happened with Batman; we've made that joke since day one of Heroclix. Still, I look at that dial and I'm hard pressed to say it's not representative. Yes, he's got an inhuman 10 clicks of health. But outside of that, any given click could be a spot-on representation of him. Sharing Stealth with allies is appropriate enough, and I'm very glad that ability's locked on a 200 point dial (rather than repeating the Sharon Carter/Avengers combo). The real question isn't, "Should Batman be a 200 point figure?" because now he is, like it or not. The question is, "Would I play this Batman for 200?" I'd have to say yes. In a game where 300 is standard build, it's nice to at least have the option to play Batman and Robin as your entire team. This is the Batman that will allow that. He's got the numbers, he's got the defenses, and he can deal the damage; this is an offbeat centerpiece, but a playable one. And thanks to an alternate starting line, it's not even a wasted figure slot if you're not interested in a 200 point Batman. If every set's headliner got this treatment, we wouldn't have any complaining about Spider-Man, Hulk, or Captain America.
This Batman's got a lot going for him, but I'm not convinced he's worth the 200 point price tag. His "Team Leader" trait is helpful for Outsiders and JL/JLI teams, but Batman Family and Gotham teams tend to have quite a bit of stealth already, so it's less useful there. His defense is what bothers me most; it's very soft for a 200 point figure, and a map with little hindering will make him an easy target. Still, he has great support abilities, can get anywhere on the map, and quite likely to hit. I like him a bit more at 100 points personally.
Penance of the Thunderbolts Clan: Don't make me hit myself. You wouldn't like me when I hit myself
I like having a 200 point Batman as an option, but this dial is not one I would run at that point cost. His point cost is too high for his low damage output and soft defenses. Sure, his amazing mobility is very accurate, and the range feels spot on for Batman, but it's just not what I am looking for in a 200 point dial given my play style. Also, perplex just doesn't feel nearly as much like Batman as outwit does, and the "I will not fail Gotham" seems like a very poor way to represent the idea o perserverance. It raises his slightly higher than average attack even further 1/3 of the time (1/3 batman has no tokens and acts that turn, 1/3 he has one token and uses the power, 1/3 he has two tokens and has to clear) assuming the best case scenario, which just feels like he's not giving his all. Overall, satisfied but not loving it.

Well a uber-Batman is a neat idea, but I have my doubts on him for 200 points. He's kinda squishy with little or no damage reducers and no higher than a 3 damage - damage that is complimented by Perplex or Outwit on most clicks, but still. But granting the TA to everyone who shares a (chosen) keyword with him, that could be handy - and frustrating to your opponent.
I like the idea of this figure, but maybe not the execution so much. It's very rare I get to play 1000+ point games, and I think that's what you need to make the 200 point Batman really strong -- otherwise, I think he's going to get outclassed by other figures in his point range.
First, if you're not playing a 1000+ point game, it's hard to take advantage of the special power that grants all of his allies the Batman Ally team ability. Having an entire Justice League squad packing the Batman Ally TA could be very strong, but it's hard to juggle between power and economical points. This begs for abuse, and there aren't many figures -- especially who aren't named Superman -- that can abuse this trait. It's just not economical.
Second, in terms of purely offensive purposes, the 111 point Vet Batman from Legacy boasts similar starting numbers, possibly outclassing both this Vet (by saving 89 points) and the Rookie (for just 11 more points). One can also fit in more characters with Perplex (or In Contact With Oracle) in order to offset the losses.
It is still a 200-point Batman, though; it gets serious, serious style points just for that.
