I actually think this is a good figure for people that have gotten into the game, and have just finally gotten all the basics down. This fig is a little bit pricey point-wise, so it forces the player to really think about teambuilding. If you don't plan, then he's pretty much just a support piece that is taking up almost 90pts on your team. And speaking of cost, I don't think that his trait is too likely to detract much from your own teams abilities, as I probably wouldn't be spending more points on other perplexers or outwitters for games 500pts and under. He might cause a little bit of strife when it comes to positioning, but I feel it's a minor challenge to overcome. It should be noted though, I also have a weak spot for mindcontrollers :D

Not woth the price. Maybe if you constructed him around auto reg character like SM lobo and GSX Wolvie then maybe just for fun but thats about it.

Well, he wont be very competitive but in a large game you could have a ton of fun with him and a bunch of thugs and inmates on your team. If he had stealth I'd gladly pay his cost, but as is, he's a free 89 points for your opponent.

Definitely a figure that is about getting in and doing damage. Or getting his team in and doing damage. I like that special power. Very accurate. Gotta have a heavy object handy to maximize the effects.

I can't see myself paying 89 points for this dial ever. Trait is good but has to get in way too close and has no real protection to keep him safe when he does. The special power will only be used on teams built just for it with a bunch of low cost figures to give them some extra power. Don't even see me using this figure.

Unfortunately this piece is pretty accurate; it's just as weak as Hugo Strange is in the comics. It's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!

A solid variation on Nightshade's power, always cool to see more monster-creating abilities.

Another villain desperately in need of a remake. Glad to see the sculpt lives up to the personality. Not sure if I like that he neuters friendlies with the "I know you as myself" power, but I'll take what I can get.

I'm really glad that they finally made a Hugo figure, even if it took the video game to make them do it. Unfortunately, I don't think they did him justice here.

I'm happy to be getting him, but the dial isn't standing out yet. I do like the idea of using him with CA Nightshade to turn characters on their starting clicks into charging b/c/f monsters that power up after attacking.

Can't give a solid opinio. I need to see him played first. But at first glance, I'm not really a fan.

Monster Men Serum is gonna rock. I am going to make an army of Hugos, monsters, and Mole Men. Monster squad! :cool: If you don't take advantage of him, he won't be worth his points, but if you do, then he could be pretty cool.
