A 200 point Batman seems way over the top to me. Personally I don't even think that Superman or Thor should be 200 points. This power creep makes it very hard to do a true old style 300 point game... I sorely miss the days when the average piece was only around 50 points... I like the indomitable, stealth (batman ally) and enhanced movement but I'm not sure all the rest is necessary....
I think this piece is well balanced. All attributes are sound to what Bats represents in the comics. A competent hand to hand combatant with solid leadership. The way his specials work, this is more of a JLA build as opposed to a solo Dark Knight. I know some are concerned about his point costs but I think it's well deserved. This Batman's subtle traits make him compliment pieces around him and he definitely can hold his own in combat. He IS Batman but he shouldn't be a marauding beast, he is human,so the defense is fine.
There's likely going to be a backlash against this figure (If there isn't already): 200 points is a LOT for Batman. But, given the power set and potential usage, I can see his appeal. the 001 common slot is a great place to put a big name, and for a casual player, access to a common figure like this makes the gaming experience more palatable (as an aside, remember arkham asylum, the set that contained only two Batmen, and the only one that wasn't from an animated kids show was a chase? Great job, guys).
Giving everyone the Batman TA is going to be POWERFUL in big games. The 200 point figure doesn't bring enough to the table in a 300 point game to ever see competitive play. I get frustrated that designers do not care about balance beyond the 300 point format when they release so many figures that augment bigger games, but then sneak out one per set that just ruins that experience.
200 points seem steep, but only 2 rows of KO, ability to give lower point figures that share a keyword the Batman TA, and a decent AV all the way down is good stuff. Not only that but have the option of pushing to get to the combat reflexes or staying on the 18 (in the case of Superman TA, Avengers Initiative, etc) against range. Certainly an interesting Bats to pick from.
I like this Batman. He makes sense for the points; he's a great foundation for a team, but he (very appropriately) is soft for 200 points. I can't wait to play him with the JLI and give them stealth.
200 points may be a little steep for a "regular" Batman (in other words, not a Black Lantern, Sinestro, or other Elsewhere variant), but when you look at everything it has, it's hard not to say the figure should cost this much. Some might call it a fanboy's dream: 10 clicks, Improved Movement for everything, great attack numbers that get even better when he has a token on him, Indom, granting lesser-cost figures with similar keywords Bat Ally TA. Probably the only annoying thing about this Bats will be the alternating Charge/Flurry and Perplex/Outwit...

He's a big one, alright. I doubt he's the best choice for a utility belt, but there's no Batman out there that is truer to the super tough JLA version. Play him as a general on a large army. He's fine as a tentpole, but there are better versions for lower games. Let him shine as a strategist in the back ranks of large scale conflicts.
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
Aside from the fact that Batman should NEVER be 200 points (at least not without a new power set, like having a power ring), it's an adequate dial. For 200 points, though, you're paying for a lot of regular utility (perplex and outwit) rather than for actual power. His trait is awesome on a big team, but since Batman is 200 points, how many big teams will he be on?
He'll fairly beastly in close combat against people without damage reducers or people who can be outwitted. Everyone else will just find him to be an annoyance.
First off, just from a quick look, yes, this figure would be viewed as being too many points for what you would get. But that's only if you are taking just a quick look.
First off, this character works well with most of the GCPD Figures out of Dark Knight Rises.
Then you have what I think is a great special ability that works well with the Indom, I would almost always use Batman to two tokens because of the +1.
Add the improved movement that the character has, and a rather deep dial, and it's looking like a pretty good common for the set. Worth the 200 points. Even worth it if you are using Bruce Wayne to AE into him.
This is a solid version of Batman however I worry that spending 200 points for a character who does no more than three clicks of damage his entire and lacks any damage-reduced greater than toughness would be pretty risky in games under 600 points. However, once you enter the threshold of higher point matches this batman will become an excellent support/secondary attacker piece.
10 clicks of life, massive attack and defense values, lots of keywords, outwits and perplexes, charges and flurries...ridiculously awesome improved movement...the ability to give Outsiders or Justice League Batman TA, and a nice AV special?
I'M. IN. LOVE. This IS in fact the Goddamn Batman! Worth every single point.
I like to see my batmans with an opening click of outwit. with that said, i love this piece. I'm just starting this game after a long hiatus and look forward to owning a powerhouse batman
Team Leader - JLA. Flash with stealth and Hss, Green Arrow running shot with stealth. Superman even. This batman is a boss espically on a team with some support. Pricy but even a 500ish point game gives you enough points left to do some damage. Plus he's a common with stupid high attack values. Could be alot of fun to play.
