One of those characters I'm going to want to play but may keep holding back on trying, waiting for some ideal teammates.
I remain on the fence, reacting differently each time I read it, as to whether the "I Know You As Myself" Trait affecting both ally and enemy is cooly thematic or annoying.
He's a bit pricey to risk using him too often, but with the right force (Regen perhaps) you may get your points out of him in spades. Also love the close-range anti-Outwit and Perplex - just park him near but on the other side of blocking terrain if you can (Line of fire is not needed).
This is actually one of the few dials I'm not a fan of from this set. I can't quite pinpoint what it is thats bugging me, but I can't say I really wanna use him. There are just so many other characters from this set I'd rather use than Strange here. His trait sure is boss, though I don't see him lasting long enough for it to make a huge impact.
I think this crazy doc will play better than he looks on paper. He is only 80 pts because of that special power which you have to admit administered to the right underestimated secondary attacker can mess your day up (not to mention the outwit he brings to the table) the little bit of mind control doesn't hurt either in case your opponent switches up their strategy and you have to get tricky.
The monster men serum could be useful on figures with activation clicks--let them charge in to potentially do some damage in the process of hulking up.
Finally we go Hugo Strange! Love the monster serum special and with the Arkham Asylum keyword he will be juicing up the Arkham inmates fromt he Dark Knight set. As I stated before, need a second so I can put the head on a Batman figure
This figure has a lot of unique capabilities. Being able to disable others outwit and perplex is great but he doesn't really have a way to defend him self from 4 squares away. Gonna have to position him well.
The numbers on the dial don't excite me but I really love the SPs. I'll have to try him out and try to make things work. He might not pan out but it'll be fun trying!
"Come on Hulk! Where's the old boasting? The battle cries? Why aren't you bellowing about how you're 'the strongest one there is'? Could it be because... you know it's not true?"
"No. Because it's just too obvious."
-Juggernaut to Hulk
Shutting down the other team's support is nice on it's own, but dealing all those powers to your own team will make this piece. Super strength, Quake, both are on tap here.
